Now TV- Avoid like plague!

Signed up for this new offer of £14.99 a month but little did i know what a nightmare it would turn into…
I’m a new user to Now TV and after subscribing i’ve got charged twice this month for Boost £5 from my bank account without prior notification. Spoke to multiple agents on live chat no results. Got no refund! On Friday spoke to an agent which promised me that i’d be charged £4.99 for Entertainment and the rest £5 would be taken from my credit on my account. Yesterday they charged me the £4.99 plus £5 for Cinema. Checked my Now account and i had 0 credit there. I’ve been lied to and manipulated into an offer that hasn’t been explained to me properly when i signed up. I guess that’s how they make their money by making people fall for their “offer” when in reality it’s a total rip off. Yesterday i tried again to speak to not one but two agents on live chat. The first guy took so long that eventually the chat ended due to time out. The second one ended up the same. They trying to justify what i’ve been charged for saying that £5 was meant to be for Entertainment when i could clearly see on my bank transaction that i’ve been charged for cinema Twice this month. They do have a contact number but they don’t take accountability for anything instead they make you go and chat with a useless agent on a trash chat that doesn’t even let you finish the conversation.
This company is Trash/Garbage. I’m going to escalate it to someone higher up since i’ve got no results from a regular agent.
I only signed up for this to watch House of Dragons which with the offer sounded pretty decent but too good to be true as afterwards they would take all your money from your bank account.
Avoid like plague, this is not worth it. It’s a trash service where everyone is trying to avoid you.
One star is too much for them i’d give Zero stars if i could.

Awful, frustrating experience!

Like many other customers I have experienced an appalling service from Now TV. Since the update, the stream is constantly buffering. I have tried this service on my tablet and PS4 but it's the same awful experience. I have just tried to watch the league cup final and the viewing experience was absolutely ruined. I decided to do an online chat with the Customer Services representative as I was fuming. It was a complete waste of time and he was really unhelpful. I have Netflix, Disney + and Amazon Prime and the streaming is great. 4K as well! Now struggles with streaming in just HD.... laughable! Avoid at all costs!

Chat function kept timing out before…

Chat function kept timing out before issue was resolved. I tried several times, the chat function would time out even when I was waiting for a reply from the customer service agent and straight after I just responded. Still haven't had my issue resolved

Zero Stars. Stay away from this service

If I could give it no stars, I would. I feel scammed. Poor content, and very expensive memberships. They split their memberships into films, series, kids content and some very dodgy booster, and the end, they charge you loads a month for nothing. I started a free trial thinking it would be £3 pounds and ended up being charged for £22 due to the different memberships they have. Worst streaming service I have ever tried. Never again. Stay away!

Charge you for packages you don’t knowingly sign up for

Terrible customer service. I have happily paid over £240 a year for several years so they have had a lot of money out of me for the entertainment and cinema pass but somehow completely unknown to me I have been charged £169 for a sports pacakage I have never used. I am the last person in the world to want a sports package! They will not fully refund even though they admit and can see I have never used it. They are time wasting thieves- customers be warned. You can apparently sign up to packages without your knowledge and then they say it’s your fault not to have cancelled earlier. I’m so so outraged at this company and will never use again.

Tricky way to get your money from subcription

I signed up to used Now TV, with so many features added for 'FREE' but after I tried to cancel my membership, it leads me to cancel other features instead (I don't know when I added those features?). Which is a very tricky way to get customers to pay for your monthly subscription as you are not actually cancelling NOW TV. 1. Now TV is very limited, it's definitely not worth £9.99 a month2. To fully get more you'll end paying so much on top. Stick to Netflix and Amazon Prime, thank you.

Just terrible

Just terrible - payment never works, overcharged, can’t content them, sent in deliberate circles. Have to threaten formal complaint to get anywhere and get money back. Never use this

Just awful.

Just awful.The NowTV Stick even though is sitting 8ft from the router constantly argues that there is a problem with the WiFi even though everything else can connect and use the internet just fine.It spends 15 minutes booting up, then tells me there is a problem and to try again, the apps crash out when it does decide to work and god forbid you move past it when you finally get it to work as the slightest breeze near it will cause it to freeze then tell you there is no internet available and it is all your fault. DO NOT BUY! Avoid at all costs unless you want to spend 2+ hours to try and watch a 5 minute YouTube video.

Good TV service but a bit expensive.

Good TV service but a bit expensive. The real problems come when trying to cancel however. It is very convoluted and took me 40 minutes to eventually work out how to do it.
